ようこそ (‘Yo-u-ko-so’, Welcome)
Hello, girls and boys (it’s Ladies first in Britain, isn’t it?). Welcome to Japanese for Secondary Students. Here, I will help you learn Japanese from scratch. If you are not lucky enough to have a teacher, you can still learn Japanese with me. If you already have a teacher, you can use my resources to support your learning. Enjoy learning Japanese!
Is Japanese easy to learn?
Every language has easy parts and challenging parts to learn. Generally, Japanese is an easy language to learn up to GCSE level. Sound is simple, and most of it is included in English. Grammar is very systematic, and exceptions are rare. However, the word order of a sentence is roughly upside down of English. You may need some time to get used to it. The demanding part is script, but I will guide you step by step so that you can progress steadily.
